About Vishwesh

Whether you are starting dance from zero, want to experience dance for the first time, or are already dancing and want to take your skills to the next level, my training is structured around your current level, goals, learning pace and interests.

I’m Vishwesh, a certified dance instructor with 11+ years of teaching experience and 2,000+ students trained across India and internationally. My focus is not simply to teach steps or choreography, but to help each student genuinely improve as a dancer.

My Teaching Approach

I teach dance through three key areas: Dance Vocabulary, Choreography and Freestyle.

This helps students not only learn routines, but also understand movement, build their own vocabulary, develop musicality and become more confident in creating and expressing themselves.

I carefully organise and structure my classes so students have a clear learning outcome and can see meaningful progress in every session. Every student doesn’t need the same training, so I adapt the learning according to where you are today and where you want to go.

Proven Student Transformations

I have worked with complete beginners who started with little or no dance experience and gradually developed better control, musicality, confidence and execution.

Some students who started with me years ago are still training with me today, with some having continued for 6–9 years. My aim is to make the learning journey not only effective, but also interesting, enjoyable and sustainable.

I Started as a Beginner Too

I started my own dance journey as a complete beginner. I know what it feels like to struggle, learn slowly, build coordination and eventually take your dancing to another level.

Because I have experienced that journey myself, I understand how to make the learning process clearer, more enjoyable and more efficient, helping students progress with the right guidance instead of figuring everything out on their own.

I Keep Learning to Give My Students Better Training

I believe a teacher should never stop learning.

I continuously upgrade my knowledge through training, research and learning from some of the best dance educators and choreographers worldwide. I also travel to learn and bring those experiences back into my teaching.

I recently completed an intensive one month dance training in Tokyo and Shibuya, Japan, training under leading choreographers and bringing those learnings into my classes.

Experience & Specialisations

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with reputed organisations including Puma, Cisco, Amazon and Qualcomm, as well as institutions such as IIIT Bangalore and IIT Bombay. I also collaborate with schools and colleges for classes, workshops and events.

Hip Hop | Freestyle | Shuffle Dance | Open Style | House | Breaking | Popping | Locking | Krump | Bollyhop | Commercial Hip Hop Choreography | VFitX Dance Fitness

I teach kids, teens, adults and working professionals, from beginners to advanced dancers.

How You Can Train With Me

* Group classes at my studio in Bangalore
* One on one private coaching at my studio or at the student’s location within Bangalore
* Online private coaching for students across India and internationally
* Workshops and special training programs for schools, colleges, corporates and other organisations

Students from India, USA, Netherlands, Australia, UK, UAE, France and other countries currently train with me through online private sessions.

My teaching focuses on building strong foundations, technique, musicality, body awareness, confidence and clean execution, while making dance approachable, enjoyable and challenging.

If you’re looking for structured dance training and want to genuinely improve, send me a message with your age, current experience level and what you want to achieve. I’ll help you figure out the best way to begin.

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

I developed an interest in dance from a very young age and used to dance occasionally. However, during my engineering studies, my interest grew much stronger. I realized that I could not see myself enjoying a regular engineering career.

I made the decision to leave engineering and pursue dance professionally because it was the one thing I truly enjoyed doing. Dance gave me a sense of purpose, and I chose to turn that passion into my career.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

My journey started with learning from the basics, which required a lot of discipline, patience, and consistent effort. During that phase, I noticed that many people struggle to improve due to a lack of structured guidance.

That’s when I felt I could fill this gap by creating my own way of teaching. Since then, I have been continuously working on my teaching methods to provide high-quality, structured training.

My goal is simple. Anyone, even with zero dance experience, should be able to become a confident and skilled dancer without repeating the mistakes I made while learning.

I enjoy teaching all age groups, from kids to working professionals and even individuals above 50. Seeing their progress and the way they feel after attending classes motivates me to keep improving as a teacher.
  • How does your work help society?

Dance is not just about performance. It builds confidence, discipline, fitness, and mental clarity. It gives people a break from their daily routine and helps them experience something positive.

Many people join classes with hesitation, stress, or self-doubt. Over time, they become more confident, expressive, and consistent.

I work with different age groups, including kids and working professionals, helping them stay active, reduce stress, and build a healthy routine.

My goal is to create an environment where people grow not just as dancers, but as individuals. I truly believe dance is something everyone should experience at least once.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

I don’t follow a single role model. I learn from multiple people who are at the highest level in their craft.

I constantly focus on improving myself by learning, training, and upskilling. This helps me bring better structure, quality, and global standards into my teaching.

My focus is always on ensuring that my students not only learn well but also enjoy the journey and carry those experiences with them.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Outside teaching, I focus heavily on self-improvement.

    This includes:

    * Training and practicing regularly
    * Going to the gym and recently exploring calisthenics
    * I'm constantly learning about business and upskilling in different areas which helps me achieve my goals.
    * Watching and analyzing choreography and performances.
    * Reading books
    * Working on building and improving my studio systems

I also enjoy spending time alone reflecting and planning how to become better every day.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

One of the most common things I see is students joining with zero confidence, especially beginners.

Many initially struggle to follow basic steps or feel uncomfortable dancing in front of others. However, with structured training and consistency, they start improving with every class.

Some of these students have gone on to perform confidently, and a few have even started teaching themselves.

Seeing this transformation from hesitation to confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my journey as a teacher.
