About Vivaswan
I am a PhD Candidate based in Kolkata, researching the construction of Masculinity in 19th century Bengali literature.
I am an elementary educator who is passionate about teaching the basics of the language Bangla. I have taught several undergraduate and graduate students of Bengali to complement their university training.
I am an author and a poet whho enjoys writing in Bangla.

The aim of the one-to-one classes that I conduct is for the students to learn Bangla in ways that suit their needs. The sessions are interactive, tailored according to the student's strengths and learning styles. Language teaching (speaking, reading, writing) is complemented by cultural and literary tit-bits that make learning easy and enjoyable.
