About Christel
My name is Christel Willemse, and food has been more than a career for me—it has been a lifelong passion and a journey of growth, creativity, and service.
As a qualified chef with an Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts and years of experience in hospitality, catering, kitchen management, sales, and business, I have had the privilege of working in professional kitchens, managing teams, creating menus, and serving guests from all walks of life.
Throughout my career, I discovered that one of the most rewarding aspects of being a chef is sharing knowledge and helping others develop their skills and confidence in the kitchen.
I want to teach because I believe culinary education should be practical, inspiring, and accessible. Too many people have a passion for food but never receive the guidance, mentorship, and real-world skills needed to turn that passion into a career, a business, or a lifelong skill.
My goal is not only to teach recipes but to develop culinary professionals who understand the "why" behind cooking. I want my students to learn professional techniques, kitchen discipline, food costing, menu planning, creativity, and the standards expected in the hospitality industry.
Whether your dream is to become a chef, start a catering business, open a food venture, or simply become more confident in the kitchen, I am committed to helping you reach your goals.
