About Richard
I was educated at a specialist music school and am currently in my final year at the Royal Academy of Music. I received the prize for top mark in my academic work in 2018 and in 2019 presented a paper at a conference in City University of London. I am fascinated with the art of learning, and I am a sincere advocate for music education.

Fundamental to my teaching method is the belief that every student is unique. As such, with each student I design a programme that is tailored to their needs and aspirations. Between us we agree upon a series of learning goals which are often in conjunction with examination requirements. Because of this highly individualised approach, I am flexible about what materials I use.
