About JB
I have a bachelor's degree in Drama and English Literature and I am currently studying for a postgraduate degree in secondary English education. I am incredibly passionate about English and the ways it can be used as a tool for personal development and a better understanding of society and life as a whole. I have over 3 years of teaching experience and have seen students who once struggled with the subject go on to thrive in exams and coursework. I aim to create personalized lesson plans so that each student can find what works for them.

I offer personalized hour long online sessions that will focus on improving the students current grade while also creating a deeper understanding and connection to English. I will work with the student to create a study structure that works for them, so that they can still be improving outside of sessions. I also aim to teach students how English can be used in the real world and help them development not only as learners but as people.
