About Meenakshi

Hello! I am an Engineering graduate and passionate English tutor with strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. I have completed 16 years of education in English, and throughout my academic journey, I actively participated in English grammar competitions and communication activities that strengthened my command over the language.

Professionally, I work with US clients and global experts in a corporate environment where English is the primary language for meetings, presentations, emails, and daily communication. This exposure has helped me develop practical spoken English skills, professional communication standards, and confidence in interacting with people from different backgrounds.

As a teacher, I focus on creating a friendly, encouraging, and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. My teaching methods include conversation practice, storytelling, pronunciation exercises, vocabulary games, grammar activities, puzzles, quizzes and fun tongue twisters to make learning more interactive and effective.

I am patient, supportive, and adaptable to different learning styles, especially for young learners and beginners. My goal is not only to improve a student’s grammar and speaking ability but also to help them become confident communicators in everyday life.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on creating a friendly, interactive, and confidence-building environment for students, especially young learners. I believe English is best learned through regular conversation, pronunciation practice, grammar exercises, tongue twisters, and real-life examples rather than only textbook learning. I use engaging techniques such as storytelling, vocabulary games, speaking practice, and fun tongue twisters like “She sells seashells by the seashore” to improve pronunciation, fluency, and confidence.

A typical class includes a quick revision, introduction of a new topic, interactive discussion, and practice exercises to improve speaking and understanding. I encourage students to communicate confidently and learn from mistakes without hesitation through simple activities and speaking exercises.

My strength as a teacher is my patience, clear communication, and ability to simplify concepts for beginners and young learners. Since I work with global clients professionally, I also bring practical communication skills into my teaching. My classes are mainly intended for young learners, school students, and beginners looking to improve spoken English, grammar, pronunciation, and communication skills.
