About Sophie
I am a teacher who encourages students and helps them build confidence. I love watching students being able to explain concepts back to me - this is how I check if students have absorbed the lesson. - I enjoy preparing lessons. I tailor them to each student as I strongly believe there is no 'one size fits all' for teaching! Each student is different and it is my job to find ways to make lessons fun and guide them to successful results in which they are proud of!

My students call me the 'FUN' teacher! - I believe that reviewing material is essential. - Each lesson goes through what was taught previously, reviewing incorrect answers, discussing how to improve answers. - However, it's all about encouraging the students and making lessons fun not tedious! Structure (for 1 hour lesson): - 10 minutes mini recap -30 minutes going through incorrect answers, how to improve answers -15 minutes new material - 5-10 minute students repeat what they remember
