About Susan
Greetings! I’m a master teacher with 25 years of experience teaching in public schools in Texas. I’ve taught at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. My teaching experience also includes teaching adults at the college level. My speciality is English Language Arts and Reading, and teaching ELLs (English Language Leaners). I tailor my instruction for each individual student’s needs, strengths, and interests. Getting to know each student and providing specific feedback in a way that is kind, helpful, and respectful of their age ensures that each student feels heard, valued, and confident that they will be successful in their learning.
