About Evie
I started tutoring in my senior year of high school - 6 clients ranging from 5th grade to sophomores in high school. I managed to raise grades and more importantly confidence. I am good with children, ranging from nannying jobs to volunteering at elementary schools through an organization called 'SciTrek'. In college, I specifically tutor 1st years in Gen Chem. As a 2nd year, biology major at UCSB, I brush up on all sciences frequently.

Algebra, biology, calculus and chemistry tutoring for students of any age group from elementary to high school. For a lesson plan, I typically ask to receive the subject matter beforehand, so I would be able to approach the material accordingly. I dedicate a portion of the session to organizational and time management skills. I have experience tutoring with all age groups and as a 19-year-old feel more relatable to students. My knowledge is fresh considering my Biology major at UCSB and will take a hands-on initiative with practice problems and encouragement.
