About Callum
My name is Callum, I’m 19 and currently studying English in my 2nd year at the University of York.
I want to teach as I feel I can create a positive and meaningful environment that negates the stresses the normal teaching environment produces. Having tutored in the past I know first hand the benefits it brings and how in just a short amount of time real improvement can be seen.

My Relevant Qualifications:
•2nd Year Undergraduate studying English at the University of York,
A* in A-Level English literature,
A* in A-Level History,
A in A-Level Psychology,
9 in GCSE English Literature,
9 in GCSE English Language,
8 in GCSE History.
My Experience:
I have tutored multiple students under a programme organised by my Sixth Form in 2023. This programme saw me working with a variety of ages on a personal level as well as in groups, to improve their English Literature and Language skills.
My Methodology:
Tutoring can often be very impersonal. That’s why I style my tutoring approach around my students to ensure your strengths are the foundations of improving in other areas. My lessons are structured in a manner relative to the topic and through a discussion oriented approach I aim to increase your confidence as well as your academic reinforcement.
My Lessons:
Typical lessons will last 1 hour.
My Lessons are targeted to GCSE and A-Level Pupils aged 15-18.
