About Isabel
I majored in math education at Chico State. I graduated top of my class and have now been teaching math for 3 years since.I have always loved working with kids, I used to work at after school programs before I became a teacher. I teach 8th grade math along with a couple of math intervention classes, so I am very well acquainted with getting students more confident in their math skills.

In my lessons I really like to start with strengthening the basics which will make more complicated ideas much more simple as we link them together. I can adapt to any book or curriculum you may be trying to understand as well and decide how to scaffold those lessons. I also love to make things fun with games that strengthen abilities in a more lighthearted way.
