About William
I’m an accomplished artist and qualified graphic designer with years of experience creating and teaching in both traditional and digital media. My artistic background spans fine art, animation, illustration, 3D modelling and texturing, and design, giving me a well-rounded understanding of visual communication. I’m passionate about helping others develop their creativity and technical ability in a supportive, structured way. Students value my patient, encouraging teaching style and my ability to explain complex concepts clearly. I’ve previously taught the fundamentals of Adobe After Effects and have guest lectured on animation projects at a university level. I’ve received awards for texturing and illustration, and I believe it’s my eye for detail and passion for exploration that allow me to continually refine my craft. This same curiosity and dedication are what I aim to foster in my students—helping them grow into confident, expressive artists with strong foundations and creative independence.

My lessons help students bring both the real world and their imagination to the page through observation, practice, and improved intuition. I teach how to see and think like an artist - understanding light, form, perspective, and proportion - while avoiding tracing to build genuine skill and confidence. Lessons are flexible and available online or in person. Each session runs 1–2 hours and can focus on either traditional or digital media. Classes are tailored to all levels, from beginners to aspiring professionals. My goal is to help students develop their unique artistic voice while strengthening their technical foundation through creative exercises and personalised, constructive feedback.
