My goal as a teacher is to inspire students to follow their dreams as artists. I want them to learn the guitar. But I also want them to learn how to create music. Music can be a wonderful way of expressing one's emotions. I look forward to working with you!

I focus on teaching students about notes of the guitar, scales for lead guitar, basic chords, strumming patterns, song structures, and also songwriting. My approach is simple. I try to get to know the student a bit to find out what kind of player they want to be. Then let that determine the direction of what I will be teaching.
