About Will
Will is an experienced actor and screenwriter with a lifelong passion for improvisation, both as a performer and as a creative tool.
Will trained with Long Cloud Youth Theatre and the Young Shakespeare Company in London. His screen acting credits include roles in: Television’s “Girl Vs. Boy”, feature films “Fresh Meat”, "Kiwi" and “Atomic Falafel”.
Will was also a founding member of improv companies "Playshop" in Wellington and "Improverished" in Auckland. He has trained with the UCB program in New York, as well as tutored at the National Youth Drama School in New Zealand.
Will also works as a screenwriter for television's "Shortland Street" and was recently cast as the lead role in "The Pillowman", by Martin McDonagh, rehearsing in London.

This class will focus on storytelling, characterization and acting with intention, using grounded techniques that you can apply to your scenes.
Students focused on improv will learn to embrace the fear and freedom of acting without a script, how to trust their instincts and find the comedy, tension and game of a scene with their fellow performers.
