About Garrett
I have worked as an actor in the New York theatre, film and television world since 2004. I have been a guest star on television series such as Hulu's "The Path", NBC's Law & Order, had a supporting role in two films that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival including starring as Russell Henderson in HBO's Emmy-Nominated "The Laramie Project", and have performed on theatre stages at every level. I have taught Theatre, Acting and Speech at the college level since 2012. It is my passion to teach the art of acting. I would be honored to bring that passion to you and your dreams.

I teach actors how to build on their natural instincts and to create characters who are compelling to watch and a thrill to play. My background is in character work and being as alive and truthful in the moment on stage or in film as possible.
A typical lesson with me will involve a brief warm-up to center your mind and spirit, improvisation techniques and practices, and finally taking the written material and working to find life in the language.
What sets me apart as a teacher is that I teach what has set me apart as an actor. I have had an amazing career and have been heralded as a genius on-stage and in film work. I work with you togive you your own practical process for finding the most truthful and interesting performance possible.
These lessons are for any level of actor. I would argue that any level of performer can always build on what they do in bringing material to life. I can give you the tools to use for a lifetime of performing.
