About Jaide
Hi i'm Jaide! I graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Theatre) with Distinction and from Screenwise Acting school from the 12 month showreel course. Im a professional actor with 7 years of film and theatre experience, also directing and writing original stage plays.
Im a bubbly and approachable personality, and i love to interact with all sorts of people. Im offering online after school tutoring services covering a range of topics of which i am well experienced from English, drama, Theatre, Dramaturgy, Film studies, Italian and Visual Arts.

PERFORMANCE MENTORING
In 2019 I had the insane honour of directing and writing my own original play with a cast of brilliant young actors. With that experience and from years of training as an actor, I strive to create a safe and collaborative space for young actors to explore their creativity and love for performing. I offer online private one on one or group sessions for high school and University level drama students needing help with HSC performances and general scene study as an acting coach. We'll cover improvisation, scene study, dialect coaching (standard American) and HSC or audition monologue prep.
DRAMATIC/CREATIVE ESSAY WRITING ASSISTANCE
Having spent the bulk of my degree studying the fundamentals of Dramaturgy and film techniques, I have written a plethora of creative essays and have since formulated strategies that helped me maintain a High Distinction average throughout my 4 year degree. I will help students with a personalised essay plan based on the assignment criteria and guide them on how to make the most of their writing with academic in text referencing in Harvard style.
CONVERSATIONAL ITALIAN TUTORING
In addition to my experience in the creative arts, I am a native Italian speaker, also having completed the HSC Italian Continuers course and continued studies throughout University. I am well versed in the current BOSTES Italian continuers curriculum and have an array of sources and activity sheets from my own time as a student. I can help students get comfortable with their conversational Italian, creating natural and unique dialogue to wow in their speaking and writing exams
