About Courtney
I am Courtney Summers from Cape town South Africa. I am currently a second year student studying at Stadio school of commerce towards a bachelors degree in Project management. I am passionate about my short and long term goals and therefore I can proudly say that I have my TEFL certificate to teach English as a foreign language. I believe that the teachers play a magnificent role in students lives and I want to dedicate myself to encouraging growth and joy in learning a new language. My lessons are aimed for children 18 and under. In my lessons I will be addressing the basics of the English language. I teach English as a foreign language therefore I use the TPR (Total physical response) method and prefer props. The aim is to meet the student in the middle meaning I want to focus on what the student wants to learn and what I think the student can improve on. my class can be described as colorful, fun , organized. I teach with enthusiasm because I am passionate about helping others.
