About Adiba
I am a student nurse, I have been tutoring SATs and GCSE students for almost 2 years in mathematics and science. I have tutored around 10 students of which most of them have progressed. As much as it is the tutor's job to deliver the best quality lessons it is also the student's job to listen, engage and recall in order to get the best results.

Active learning is the most effective way of learning, in each of my lessons I make sure I explain the topic concisely and effectively, giving effective examples broadens one's knowledge, once I am convinced that the student has understanding of the topic I then ask them to explain it back to me in their own words as this works as active recall allowing the student to attain knowledge in a better way and less likely to forget.
It is important important to understand the root of the topic as only then any questions asked regarding that topic can be easily answered.
