I believe in the following quote "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." As a teacher I believe that Involving my students as much as possible, will lead to success.
1. In my class I will make sure that my students understand what I did during the lessons, by answering a quiz. Doing so the student will not only remember the lesson over the short term but understand the lesson and apply it when speaking Afrikaans.
2. Using visuals in my class, is a no-brainer... Without using visuals students will only listen with "one ear" but by showing them something they can see, they will always remember my lesson!
