About Manon
I am currently a student at the University of Nottingham studying Biochemistry. I have always had a passion for learning and have achieved all A* grades at A level and GCSE. As deputy head girl of my high school I have mentored many fellow pupils, at my teachers request for subjects from history to chemistry. Many of the students I have mentored have gone from underachieving to excelling past their target grade. As I am young I have a fresh idea of the curriculum and am able to
offer a creative approach to understanding it. This enables me to not only give the most up to date tutoring possible but also give advice and support.

My teaching methodology is that every child can understand and excel in any subject but each child will do it differently. Some children learn from past papers and some learn from visual displays like flashcards or mind maps. I believe that the key to any child’s learning pathway is first establishing how they learn and then catering a lesson plan just for them. I also believe it is important to be able to teach a topic in various ways that appeal to various learners unlike the one method approach by teachers.
