About Rasha
I obtained my doctorate degree with honors from the University of Jordan in Classical Arabic Theory. Throughout my experience in multiple institutions and universities teaching Arabic and language and literature.
My experience includes teaching, analyzing, and researching classical Arabic poetry and prose within a historical and cultural context in the lived experiences of the poets and their environments.
My background spans more than 12 years of experience researching, publishing, planning, leading, and continually improving language programs to achieve measurable and analytical research projects as well as teaching in the classroom. By teaching students from a wide range of backgrounds and learning styles, I have honed my communication, creativity, and motivational skills. Additionally, my inherent passion for Arabic and English languages and culture has fostered exciting and engaging classes and has successfully encouraged and developed thoughtful and enthusiastic students and my colleagues as well.
Highlights of my qualifications include:
Creating individualized plans and programs to facilitate a targeted, personalized approach to education while stimulating students’ enjoyment and appreciation for literary text.
