Hi! My name is Erika, I offer tutoring in GCSE English Language, English Literature, and Biology, built on a strong academic record and over two years of successful tutoring experience. I achieved a Grade 8 in both GCSE English Language and Biology, and I’m currently predicted A* in A-Level English Language and Psychology, and an A in Law. As an English and Law ambassador at my sixth form, I’ve developed excellent communication and mentoring skills, regularly supporting students of all abilities. My tutoring style is adaptable, encouraging, and results-driven. I take pride in my ability to explain complex ideas clearly, tailor sessions to individual needs, and help students make real, measurable progress—no matter their starting point. My consistent academic performance and multiple commendations in Biology reflect my dedication and depth of subject knowledge, which I bring to every lesson. What to expect in your first lesson with me: • A relaxed introduction to get to know each other and understand your learning style • Discussion of your exam board, current working grade, and target grade • A short diagnostic task (e.g., past paper question) to gauge your current level • Focus on any topics you struggle with or want to build more confidence in • Clear, structured feedback at the end of every session • Optional homework for extra practice, set by request I also offer group chats with parents/guardians for quick updates and easier communication. If you need to cancel or postpone, I just ask for at least one hour’s notice. I’m passionate about helping students feel more confident, motivated, and prepared—and I look forward to supporting you on that journey!
