About Nathan
I am a graduate of UNC Wilmington’s department of Biology and Marine Biology. During my time as an undergraduate student I focused on studying physiology, comparative zoology, microbiology, biochemistry and ecology. I have a special interest in neuroscience (my minor in college), specifically studying the comparative physiology and evolution of behavior.

My approach to learning and teaching involves diving into interesting examples from direct scientific literature and participating in creative discussion in an effort to avoid simple memorization. The goal is to learn the theoretical basis for a scientific idea in such a way that it could be utilized and remembered.
