About Kimberly
My name is Kimberly. I have worked within education for the last ten years, both within the heart of schools and communities, developing the skills and confidence of young people - aiming to make learning as approachable and inclusive as possible. I aim to provide strategies and learning solutions that provide a way forward through development.
Generally, after discussing what your needs and expected outcome are and ‘checking in’ with your young person, we will highlight areas, strategies and needs. I will aim to build skills, knowledge base and confidence through a series of short activities making sure that each session is varied, informative and fun! We will also take time to break down any tough areas with time each session for questions! This will be reflective of curriculum for excellence bench marks as well as personal learning goals.
I have done so whilst on my own (lengthy) journey of higher Education! This is how I first found my passion for literacy, and academic skills. And as time passes it only grows! I hope to pass on some of my own love for learning to others.
