About Yasmin
Teaching is my passion. Even as a kid at school, I liked to stand in front of a blackboard and explain to the others everything that they had not understood. Later, I gave tutoring lessons in all sorts of subjects. In 2010, I started giving Arabic lessons.

I teach every level, from the beginner, who has never come into contact with Arabic, to the graduate of Arabic, who wants to learn to read / write highly complex texts. From the toddler, who is supposed to grow up with Arabic, to seniors. From German businessmen, who would like to welcome their contacts in the Middle East in Arabic, to Arab dreamers, who does not know their grammar, but would like to write literary texts. My teaching focuses primarily on using the language. To learn a language, you have to use it - learning vocabulary alone does not work. I offer Arabic language learners the opportunity to engage in dialogue with me, using vocabulary and sentences they just learned both orally and in writing - and that from day one, even for beginners. And I'll give you tips on where else to find someone to practice your lessons with. I do not focus on grammar, unless it is desired. I respond to learners' wishes and work with them on their weak points, be it pronunciation, written expression, or simply the Arabic letters. I studied German language and literature and now study Arabic-German Conference Interpreting. Arabic is not only my native language, I write poetry and short stories in Arabic and I am able to communicate in Modern standard Arabic without problems. Not many Arabs can claim that, most can converse only in their local dialect and use standard Arabic as a written language only.
