Construction sites taught me that a messy start rarely yields a clean finish. I spend my days working with students who feel like their own drafting process is currently a total disaster. Dealing with blocks and attributes or complex coordinate systems feels overwhelming until you see the logic behind the layout.

I have worked with over 100 students who were tired of their work collapsing under pressure. We keep it simple until the foundation holds. My own career path was anything but linear, which makes me pretty patient when your own progress feels stalled or confusing.

About the lesson

Real Drafting standards require patience before speed becomes the priority.

I sit with you to build a robust template that you can reuse for the rest of your career.

We start by fixing your layers and management settings. Then we move into xrefs, measurement tools, and proper annotation styles. My training as an architect means I know exactly how these files must behave when they hit the printer.

You walk away with a functional toolset rather than just a collection of random commands.
