About Michelle
Hi! I'm Miss Michelle ! Just like you, I have a passion for art. I studied art for 6 years in college to become an Art Teacher and then returned to school for 2 more years to become a Special Education Teacher. I felt that the two degrees combined could really enhance my teaching for all types of learners.
In college I pursued photography and had the honor to win several shows and be published in Photographers Forum annual photo book two different years.
After college I decided to explore colored pencil more and have really enjoyed creating realistic pieces of art work for several clients.
COOL FACT: I never used colored pencils in a serious way until I was 27. With all of the art skills I have learned over time from teachers and professors...I was able to put those skills to use in my drawings. Many people are shocked to know that I hadn't been doing this for years !
