About Allen
I am a recent college graduate who has received my Bachelor's of Art from California Baptist University. I have studied Spanish for the past 6 years, I have lived in Central America, written countless essays, studied Latin American literature and even written a full feature screenplay in the Spanish language. I am passionate about languages and love the new doors they open, and the new views & perspectives they can bring into ones life.

I base my classes off of student interaction. The most important thing when learning a language is to be actively engaged. I make my classes fun and interesting by catering to my students interests. If you want to focus on speaking, writing, listening or reading we can narrow in on a specific sect of the language or cover all areas evenly. In my classes you get to decide what you want to learn, and I will custom my lessons around such. If there are certain topics you are interested in, we can explore vocabulary and conversations related to these areas. From beginners, to intermediate speakers I can help you improve your vocabulary, speaking abilities, accent, and overall understanding and confidence with the Spanish language. I have spent much time living in El Salvador and have a familiarity with Central American Spanish but I can also help you master dialects from Mexico and Spain if so desired.

I had the pleasure of taking several Spanish courses alongside Allen during our undergraduate career. From intermediate to advanced Spanish courses in both context and grammar as well exploring cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries through literature and film, I have personally seen the growth of Allen's Spanish proficiency. I've enjoyed speaking Spanish with Allen in both academic and conversational aspects and believe that he is more than a trustworthy teacher!
