About Alice
I am an artist and filmmaker living and working in Oregon. I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Film/Animation/Video. While there I was a teaching assistant for multiple stop-motion classes, and I helped with children's art lessons before college as well. I am familiar with the AP Art high school process and building a portfolio for school.

I take an individual approach for each student's needs and try to work around their own personal artistic interests, while providing advice and instruction based on fundamental artistic principles. I have experience teaching older kids and teens/young adults, as well as college students. I am encouraging, gentle, and optimistic, as I believe that art should be a joyful and inspiring process.
