About Shalini
Hi guys, I'm Shalini. I hope I get to tutor some of you soon, but let this be a short introduction of myself. I am also still in school, so I myself am still a student. I went through the same schooling most of you probably have. Don't worry if you're struggling in English, I would say it is definitely one, if not, the hardest subject to grasp into understanding. Our lessons are not meant to make you feel lost, but to redirect. We will sit and chat about how to improve, what you find difficult and how we can fix it. I won't sit here and tell you what you've done wrong - because in this subject you are never wrong. However, we will work together to build your mistakes into beautiful answers.

English is difficult to teach as it is about ideas. I want to encourage kids to think creatively. During sessions we will speak: speak about the deeper meanings of quotations, how society and politics influenced texts, and everything needed to achieve those top grades. For my younger students, we will cover the basics of grammar and how to find answers to comprehension questions efficiently - ensuring to drill the knowledge they need into their confidence. I will conduct 1 hour long sessions for each student, but if I feel this isn't enough, and the student enjoys each session and feels restricted by time, then I am open to extending our lessons.
