About Laura
My name is Laura and I am from Australia’s capital, Canberra. I studied in the capital and taught for 5 years before relocating to the UK.
My 5 years of experience includes mainstream education, SEN, and specialist visual art lessons.
I have a passion for education and providing all children with the opportunity to grow and learn in creative and innovative ways.
I have extensive ICT skills, especially online content creation. I assisted with the transfer to online learning during the pandemic and trained and coordinated staff on learning online.
I was nominated in my first year of teaching as the Australian Capital new educator of the year, and have continued to grow and learn for the past 5 years.
