I'm an author, screenwriter and journalist, passionate about the world of words and all of their uses. I come from a family of teachers, and while I specialise in teaching English, I also tutor in History, Politics and ICT.
I studied pure English at Queen Mary, University of London - a Russell Group University with the course ranked third nationally at time of study, and I achieved a BA(Hons) 2.1. Before that I studied A levels in English, History and Politics at Woodhouse Sixth Form College - awarded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and regularly rated in the top five colleges in England.
I also spent five years working with people with severe and enduring mental and physical health considerations, helping them manage their own development into work, social mobility and independent living through positive, structured techniques.
