About Alexis

I am a dedicated educator currently working in an autism support classroom, where I provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. My experience has strengthened my ability to differentiate instruction, implement effective behavior strategies, and create a structured, supportive learning environment.

I specialize in early literacy, including phonics, reading comprehension, and foundational academic skills. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and make meaningful progress at their own pace.

As a tutor, I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and well-prepared for every session. I communicate clearly with families, set achievable goals, and tailor each lesson to meet the unique needs of the student. My goal is to not only improve academic skills but also help students feel successful, motivated, and confident in their abilities.

I specialize in helping students build strong foundations in reading, phonics, and early literacy skills while also supporting focus, confidence, and independence.

My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I incorporate hands-on activities, repetition, and positive reinforcement to help students truly understand concepts—not just memorize them.

I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of their progress. Whether your child needs extra support, skill-building, or a confidence boost, I’m here to help them succeed and enjoy learning along the way.
