About Thiyagarajan
I am Dr. R. Thiyagarajan, an academician, researcher, and structural engineering educator with over 12 years of core teaching experience at premier technical institutions, including the College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Anna University. I hold a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering and an M.E. in Structural Engineering (8.2 CGPA).
Throughout my academic career, I have mentored undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students across critical analytical, structural design, and drafting domains. In addition to core university coursework, I specialize in industry-standard computational and modeling software, including Autodesk Revit Architecture & BIM, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and SAP2000.
My background combines rigorous academic theory with practical application—from understanding structural mechanics and codal provisions to executing 3D BIM models, parametric families, and working drawing sheets. My goal is to help students, architecture aspirants, and working professionals build solid theoretical clarity and strong software workflows that translate directly to industry practice.
