About Emily
I completed a National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA)-accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Ayurvedic Wellness and have worked in 2 different Ayurvedic clinics over 4 years.
Current research in Western medicine continues to link an array of autoimmune disorders and mood disturbances to imbalances that originated in the gut. We will focus on optimizing digestion and gut health through dietary and lifestyle changes, herbal recommendations and/or detoxification "cleanses". Exercise, meal preparation and stress-reduction are also areas for deep exploration.

We will learn the foundations of Ayurveda- the 3 doshas, the 5 elements, the 6 tastes, agni, ama, ojas, the 7 bodily tissues, the bodily channels and wastes- and how they relate to digestion and health in general. We will generate a personal wellness plan that can include a 21 day gut reset, 21 day weight-loss and reset cleanse, and/or a 5-14 day colon reset. We will also talk about ideal daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal routines that benefit health and performance.
