About Alessandra
I am passionate about everything that concerns the human body. I initially got my Biomedical Science degree from the University of Sheffield, where I had the opportunity to further explore my passion and enthusiasm for Human Anatomy; enough to continue my studies with an MSc in Human Anatomy with Education, aiming to teach and inspire young people like me toward biological sciences.

My approach to teaching is very flexible and adaptable to the needs of my students. After establishing the subject's level of depth my students need, I usually introduce the day's topic clarifying starting doubts and encourage my students to take ownership of their learning. In doing so, I go beyond unidirectional and passive teaching in favour of a more active approach, which allows me to best satisfy my students' educational needs. After the clear intro and active-approach techniques, I usually conclude my teaching sessions with quizzes/activities confirming learning took place, followed by clarifications of any doubts my students might have.
In any case, it is possible to discuss and agree on the most suitable or preferred approaches for the specific student.
