About Leo
Badminton has been a major part of my life for years, and it's given me both the competitive experience and the coaching background to help others improve their game. I've won the APAC Championship three years in a row, competing against a field of around 12 teams, and I trained under a coach who ranked just below the national team level.
That experience taught me something important: real improvement comes from fixing the small technical details most players overlook, not from vague advice or generic drills. It's why I focus so heavily on technique when I coach, breaking down grip, footwork, swing mechanics, and positioning to find exactly what's holding a player back.
I've also spent time coaching other players directly, which taught me how to explain technical corrections clearly and patiently, so students actually understand the "why" behind each fix, not just the "what." I take coaching seriously and I'm committed to helping you make real, measurable progress, whether you're just starting out or trying to break through a plateau.

My coaching is all about fixing your technique through video analysis. Instead of giving general tips, I look closely at your actual gameplay: grip, swing, footwork, positioning, and shot execution, and figure out exactly what's holding your game back. You'll get specific feedback you can use right away, not vague advice that's hard to apply.
How I teach:
You describe what kind of support or help you require, then send me a video of yourself playing, whether it's a match, a drill, or just practice. I go through it and pick out the technical mistakes that are limiting you, then explain clearly how to fix them. If you keep working with me, I'll track your progress across sessions to make sure those fixes are actually sticking.
Lesson length:
Usually around 20 - 30mins, though it can vary a bit depending on how much footage you send and how much feedback it needs.
My background:
I've won the APAC Championship three years in a row, competing against a field of around 12 teams, and I trained under a coach who ranked just below the national team level (the tier that competes internationally, including the Olympics). My coaching focuses on the technical side of badminton: grip, footwork, shot mechanics, and positioning, the details that separate a good player from a great one. I've also coached other players in structured sessions, helping them build strong fundamentals and fix the habits that were holding them back. I know exactly what precise technique work can do for your game, because it's what took mine to a competitive level.
Who this is for:
These lessons work for pretty much any level. Beginners who want to build good habits early, and intermediate or advanced players who feel stuck and want to know exactly what's holding their progress back.
