About Vicente
Are you ready to start your journey as a barista?
I am Vicente, graduated in Direction and Management of Culinary Arts at the Le Cordon Bleu cooking school of the Finis Terrae University, I have lived numerous experiences within the world of haute cuisine, an environment where the commitment to the quality of raw materials is essential, an environment in where the great coffee consume and the searching for a better product have led me to discover the exciting world behind coffee.
In a self-taught way I have been learning about the processes and variety of factors that affect this wonderful grain, making roasting tests and tastings sessions for almost all 2018, later during a study trip I decide to take my first class as barista in the city of Valencia, once back in Chile, I have been part of the first instance on the campaign of the #brewathome project of I'm Not A Barista, connecting coffee shops in Chile and Spain to contribute with the protagonists of the world of coffee affected by the covid-19 pandemic. During the first months of 2020 I created a dissemination project on social networks called @baristatuto, a project that made me immerse myself even more in the publication of knowledge about coffee and its processes, this project led me to the realization of my first book on recipes " A Cada Taza, Una Cultura" (Top Sales on the Lektu platform).
I am currently making digital content related to the world of coffee, in order to provide basic and low-complexity tools for all those who seek to be part of the exciting world of coffee.

My classes are focused to beginners and are based on the delivery of the basic knowledge that allows the preparation of a good coffee, as well as the presentation of the parameters that influence it and how to adjust them depending on the taste of the final consumer.
I will teach you through experimentation that parameters such as grinding, water temperature, water quality and many more affect the final result of a cup of coffee, practicing each theory in methods adapted to your availability ( AeroPress, V60, Mokapot, French Press, you can choose one or we can try them all).
