About Shaina
Hello! I'm a 24-year-old tutor based in San Francisco, and I'm thrilled about teaching. With a Bachelor's degree in Economics from UC Berkeley, I've been tutoring since high school, starting with peer tutoring and continuing through college. I've worked with students of all ages, from 1st grade to college level. Tutoring not only allows me to share what I've learned but also helps me refine my own skills. By day, I work in acquisitions management for an investment firm, but my true passion is education. Outside of tutoring and work, I enjoy music, practicing guitar, and engaging in adventure sports. Typical lesson plan is customizable based off of your needs, goals, and where you are at. I would start off each lesson with our objective and what we will be focusing on. I believe in practice and building a strong foundation - so I will be focusing on that and proving an all rounded experience of practice questions, concept learning, and providing space for my student to discuss their challenges with the subject at hand.
