Perfect! Over the past two years, Andrew has been a wonderful teacher and mentor for my son. He has a calm, thoughtful way of teaching that is supportive while continually encouraging improvement.

Andrew never relied on a one-size-fits-all approach. He paid attention to how my son learned, adjusted his teaching to meet him where he was, and always struck a balance between challenging him and keeping him engaged. As a parent, it was clear that Andrew genuinely cared about his progress—not just as a guitarist, but as a young musician developing confidence, discipline, and curiosity going as far as guiding his audition process for entrance into Manhattan School of Music's Summer Jazz Program.

My son made tremendous technical and musical growth during their time together. Andrew was patient when pieces became difficult (and always encouraged my son's song choices). He always maintained a positive, encouraging environment. Lessons were structured, productive, and enjoyable, which made my son look forward to coming each week.

Perhaps just as importantly, Andrew is simply a great person. He's kind, professional, dependable, and someone we genuinely enjoyed getting to know over the past two years.

We've decided to move in a very specialized direction with classical guitar, which is the only reason we're ending lessons. If our path were different, we would have been very happy to continue working with Andrew.
