Best Tutor in west Michigan - I've taught math at all levels, and also reading and phonics

Bob has a true teacher's heart. He makes math enjoyable for kids who otherwise would rather do anything else by incorporating games and other manipulative sets into their learning. Plus, he enjoys educating parents as well about ways to help their children develop a number sense and get math facts "by heart." We highly recommend working with Bob if you're looking to help your child or children gain familiarity and comfortability with numbers and mathematical functions.

We were so fortunate to have found Algebra for Kids!! My 3 kids were engaged, relaxed and stimulated by the Algebra for Kids approach. They were introduced to concepts they wouldn’t have encountered for years with curiosity and confidence. Bobs love for numbers and life engages a wide age range and makes math fun! I have highly recommended Bob and will continue to do so. An experienced teacher who is passionate about his subject as well as the students ability to understand and enjoy the learning process. Win, win!!!!!

After the first session, my daughter said something I thought I'd never hear - "Math is fun." She really likes working with Bob and the things he shows her beyond just answering her questions.

Bob draws upon these principles, as he calls them, to show how math is so connected. It helped a lot with fractions and with algebra too. He's also great at teaching me the important things to memorize and even how to memorize .
