About Ana Gabriela
I'm a certified primary school teacher and STEM specialist with years of classroom experience in international schools, teaching students from dozens of different countries and backgrounds.
My training and day-to-day practice are grounded in real classroom instruction, not just online tutoring; I know how to plan a lesson, manage pacing, and adjust for different learning levels because I've done it professionally, in person, for years.
I hold formal teaching qualifications and have consistently worked with school leadership, parents, and students to deliver measurable academic progress.

My teaching method centers on hands-on, inquiry-based learning; students observe, ask questions, and test ideas rather than memorize facts. I adapt pacing and language support to each student's level, especially for bilingual or multilingual learners, and build in regular checks for understanding throughout every lesson.
A typical lesson opens with a short warm-up question to activate prior knowledge, followed by a hands-on activity or experiment that introduces the concept directly.
I bring real classroom experience from international schools, not just tutoring experience; I've taught STEM to students from dozens of nationalities and know how to adjust for different learning styles, language levels, and cultural backgrounds. I focus on building genuine understanding and curiosity, not just getting through worksheets, so students retain what they learn and start asking their own questions.
Who the lessons are for
My lessons are best suited for elementary and early middle school students (roughly ages 6-12) in science, math, and robotics, including bilingual students and those in international or dual-language school settings. I work well with students who need extra support catching up, as well as curious learners looking for enrichment beyond their regular curriculum. Group and 1:1 formats are both available.
