About Emma
I am a theatre artist and educator currently living and working in Paris. I've been in France for about two years now (first in Lyon as an English teacher, and now in Paris working in university admissions) and have a great deal of experiencing teaching both theatre and English. I have more recently begun offering French language tutoring as well, and I love sharing this beautiful language with others.

As a theatre person, I firmly believe that the best way to learn is through creative, engaging activities that draw on the student's interests - music, art, games, and more! I can adapt myself to the student's needs, whether you are just starting out and looking for a solid foundation in French grammar and vocab, or whether you have a solid level already and want to practice your conversation skills. While I am not a native French speaker, I have a good ear for accents and the advantage of having learned to speak French myself, which I think makes it easier to teach others with patience and empathy. I love cultural exchange and learning new languages; in addition to English and French, I speak conversant Italian and am working on my Spanish.
