About Phoebe

I am a final year university student studying Advanced Spanish, and have spent my last 3 years routinely living and travelling in Latin America. Having just come back from a placement internship at the British Chamber of Commerce in Colombia, I would love to share the beauty of Spanish's diversity across all countries. I would love to help students become more confident in their language capabilities, as they are incredibly sought after in the workplace, and open their world up to so many amazing opportunities.

About the lesson

My goal is to help my students fall in love with Spanish, and truly enjoy discovering a second language! As a university student, I am all too familiar with the pressures of school learning, and how helpful a confident, personal style of teaching can be. Lessons are roughly 40 mins-1 hour long, with the structure entirely dependent on the student and their goals. Whether you are looking to learn some holiday words, GCSE or A Level student, or brand new to the language, my teaching will reflect this. Lessons often start with a brief recap of previous learnings, going over at-home tasks, and then delving into conversation, listening and writing skills. Sessions are kept dynamic and interesting with varying immersive activities to challenge and encourage long-term learning.
