About Sarah
Originally trained in fashion design, I have a Master's in Material Futures with a focus on working with microorganisms for design. Founder of The Mikro Collective - a resource library for the intersection of art & microbiology. I am a course leader for Biodesign in Fashion at Lebanese American University of Architecture and Design and have delivered workshops in Biodesign to masters students at University of the Arts London. I mentor a 35+ group of graduate students at UAL and focus my time on spreading the magic of microbes for use in art & design!
