About Guilherme
I am a marine biologist and science teacher. I completed my masters in marine biology and coastal environments in 2017 and I am currently doing my PhD in Earth and Environmental sciences at UQ. Prevous to my arrival in Australia, I worked as a science teacher and biology coordinator on a middle and High School, not only teaching biology and environmental sciences but also helping students with science fair/conference projects. I have a true passion for science and want to help children and teenagers to improve their STEM skills.

My teaching method is based on the student's experience, bringing examples of his reality, making it easier to assimilate the content, always seeking to demonstrate the concept in a practical way. When teaching my students I plan and implement a variety of teaching pedagogies to emphasis engaged learning, communication, collaboration and problem solving through a range of technologies.
