About Caitlin
I’ve just finished my masters degree in biology, and have A levels in chemistry and physics too. I’ve tutored to GCSE level and informally supported students through A level and degree level work. I have 9A*s and 2As at GCSE and would be happy to teach most subjects at that level. I hold a current DBS check and have spent the past year and a half working as a science technician and demonstrator at a secondary school making things go bang & explaining why - and while I expect fewer explosions in our sessions I'll aim to make them as exciting.

I find visual aids are very often the key to understanding, so constructing diagrams and mapping systems together is the basis of my teaching. Following this, we work through example questions together to find the gaps in your understanding and work to fill them in, while developing exam technique.
