About Pilar
Hi there! My name is Pilar, I am a Colombian biologist who decided to come to Canada to pursue her PhD degree. I have had the opportunity to work with people from various backgrounds thanks to the different projects I have been part of during my career, and a few years ago, when I started working as a Teaching Assistant, I realized how much I enjoy teaching and tutoring. I am an organized and patient person who likes to take her time to make sure things are done well. I believe I can be a great tutor in different subjects (biology, stats, math) because 1) I am curious and I love learning, 2) I like helping people, and 3) I have studied all those subjects in two languages, Spanish and English!
