About Kristen

I have always been a dedicated student who was willing to do what it takes to understand a subject. I can take that same determination and apply it to tutoring, determined to help you. I will do my best to make our session a stress-reducing experience, patiently and humbly working to answer your questions.

About the lesson

If you know how you learn best, tell me! Otherwise I will do my best to find out and personalize your tutoring sessions to your learning style. I want to help you understand the concepts you’re struggling with- I have felt the pain of spending hours just wanting to understand something! I can also offer some helpful test-taking tips that have helped me succeed in all subjects.

I was ready to drop out because of the pressure of classes, but Kristen got me back on track within the semester. She is a master communicator and has a wealth of knowledge, I can't think of anyone else I'd rather call on for help.

Kristen is an excellent math tutor/teacher. She really knows her stuff and is able to explain problems with good detail and multiple approaches. When her first explanation doesn’t click for you she’ll ask you questions and find a way to explain it that you’ll understand. I highly recommend for any mathematics course.
