About Nicole
I am a third year Biomedical Engineering student at McMaster University. I made the Dean's Honor's List and do very well in my studies. I attended a very academically rigourous highschool where I achieved atleast a level 4 in AP Lit, AP Calculus, and AP Biology. I know this material very well and am committed to helping you succeed.
At the same time, I am a very friendly and easygoing person. I see no reason why studying has to be a super scary or formal process. I am happy to work with whatever skills you currently have and build a friendly, professional relationship.

I have both peer and private tutored for 6 different clients in mathematics over the years. I know math and science can be very intimidating, but with the right approach I believe every student can succeed.
A typical lesson with me involves a few minutes of theory - usually using graphing software or some other visuals to help students understand what the math actually means. Then I will walk you through some examples before giving you some problems to try on your own. I always leave students with supplementary questions to practice on their own time to strenghten thier skills.
I have taught math to students as young as 8 all the way up to AP calculus. I can help with homework and am flexible to your schedule. I am also very familiar with the highschool science curriculum - especially biology.
